The road to college is a winding path that can be very difficult to navigate. We realize that for a student to find the school that best fits his or her needs, numerous factors need to be taken into consideration. Strategic planning is also needed from the start of a student’s high school career to get into the college of his or her choice. That’s why PSA counselors coach our students to reach their potential by taking on all aspects of the college match, admissions, application, and financing process so they can attend the college of their choice, and namely one of the best in the nation.
We offer college prep boot-camps for students to accomplish everything they need to prepare, apply, get in, and pay for the colleges of their choice:
College Prep Bootcamp (11th)
Ideal for students in 11th grade, this bootcamp is held each spring for students to complete everything they need to apply to college. Students will identify all the schools across the country with the best program, campus offerings, and tuition that fit their needs.
Over the course of 3 days, students complete:
Skills and Learning Assessment
Selection of 3 majors/fields that fit your personality and skills
Profile Evaluation: measuring the student's chance for admission at colleges of varying competitive levels
Personal Branding: enhancing student's strengths and formulating a plan to strengthen weaknesses
Resume Building for college apps, jobs, scholarships
College Selection: selection and categorizing reach, target, and safety colleges; selecting four best target schools
Guidance on college applications (CSU/UC/Common App/Universal App)
